A player's path.

A clear development system that guides a child through every stage — from the first steps to serious basketball. Across these five stages the club runs more than ten competitive teams in Montenegro's leagues, and results never come before development.

Results aren't the goal — the goal is to raise a child who loves to move, learn and enjoy training.

Modern life has caused a drop in children's motor skills: weaker coordination, balance, reaction speed and basic movement patterns. That's why this period is decisive for their overall development.

Through games, obstacle courses and the first basketball elements we build coordination, agility, balance, speed and spatial awareness. Through play, children build confidence, work habits and a love for sport.

Our goal isn't to make a basketball player as fast as possible. Our goal is to first develop a quality athlete.

Younger pioneers
Technical foundations

10–12

Younger pioneers

The stage where the technical foundations that follow a player for their whole career are set.

Most of training is devoted to learning the fundamentals correctly, through a large number of quality repetitions — ball control, passing, shooting, finishing and footwork.

We don't specialise by position early. Every player develops a complete range of skills so they can later meet all the demands of the modern game.

Competitions are a chance to learn, not the end goal. Training remains the place where habits, character and quality of play are built.

Pioneers
Serious development

Teams 03 / 05

13–14

Pioneers

The move from the learning phase into serious player development.

Technical elements become stable, while training gains intensity and complexity. Players develop game understanding, decision-making under pressure and their first serious tactical principles.

Special attention goes to discipline, responsibility, emotional control, confidence and a winning mentality.

Through the Montenegro Youth League, players prove what they've learned against the best of their peers and build competitive character.

Cadets
Reading the game

Teams 04 / 05

15–16

Cadets

One of the most important development stages in forming a serious basketball player.

Individual technique must be automatic, while the focus shifts to game understanding, quick decisions, reading the opponent and functioning within a team system.

We develop responsibility to the team, communication and the ability to play under pressure. Players learn to solve problems on the court and take responsibility in key moments.

The Montenegro Youth League is the ideal environment to test progress and prepare for the next level.

Juniors
Preparing for seniors

Teams 05 / 05

17–18

Juniors

The final stage of youth development and preparation for senior basketball.

Every detail matters — refining individual quality, physical preparation, tactical discipline and the professional habits that follow a player for their whole career.

Players are expected to show a high level of responsibility, independence and a professional approach. The goal is the move into senior, university or international basketball.

We don't just build a quality player — we build an athlete who understands the game, has a winner's character and is ready for the demands of elite sport.
